Appearance: Blackish brown. Basically no head.
Smell: Malty. Something bitter.
Taste: Same as taste.
This is really good. It certainly doesn't look like the Amber you're used to. It has a bitterness to it, and a hint of chocolate. I'd prefer this to most to the red ales I've had. I'd get this again.
