Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Slightly cloudy golden amber pour with 2 fingers of fluffy white head. Falls fast... great sticky lacing.
S: Light citrus and caramel malts. Pretty mild on the nose.
T/F: Sweet malts and toasted grains... light citrus and mild pine. Very modest bitterness. Kind of lacking in flavor... really expected more given the whopping ABV. Medium bodied... finish is citrusy. The ABV is dangerously hidden... and definitely warming as you sip.
O: Kind of weak flavor-wise for a 13% ABV triple IPA. Not bad per se... but just lacking. Glad I got to try it, but not one I'd seek out again.
