Poured from an undated cacn into the test glass
A - Ebony wood color, holds all the secret, a lovely tan tight knit froth caps the offering. Lacing is lovely.
S - Nutty, earthy, notes of cocoa, char, a hint of toffee, and esspresso
T - All those aromatics and hints of black pepper, blackberry all are in the mix
M - Soft water, silky, medium in body, smooth on the palate, linger is bakers chocolate, and rye. Beatifully dry.
O - A very good stout, hefty enough with out being chewy, lots of depth, The texture is outstanding

On tap. Black. Thin head. Whiter and thinner than I'd like for the style and abv. Nice smell. A lot of Roasted chocolate smell. Some sharper roasted coffee in the back. Surprisingly sweet. Real chocolatey. Some coffee to balance as it warms. This is definitely growing on me. Has the creaminess I want from a stout, but the carb is a bit heavier. More porter-like. Happy with this beer. Would def be curious to try some of their other offerings.
