Poured from tallboy can into pint glass. Paired with the bean and kale soup my roommate made (pretty good).
Pours a hazy straw yellow. Short-lived one-finger head, dense lacing. Smells like sweet corn. Noteworthy flavors include lemongrass and barley. Very crisp and clean. No notable aftertaste. Medium body, very carbonated, creamy mouthfeel- not just easy to drink, but delightful to drink.
Gang, I HATE pilsners, but this is solid.

Pours a pale golden straw with kind of a saisony aroma to it. It kind of reminds me of Saison Dupont or that Belgian execution on the nose. I get some of that saison character but it's super grassy. I actually like this but it's not my favorite German Pils.

NO can date
Pours a light fizzy head about 1 finger with med retention, little lacing, very clear light golden color
Nose brings nice grainy malt, grainy-sweet pilsner malt, little straw and hint of corn, light floral grassy hops
Taste brings fair grainy-sweet malt, decent straw and a hint of corn, nice pilsner malt, soft lager, light floral herbal hops, a bit of bitterness, which kicks up on the back end to a nice med-higher crisp bitterness on the finish, floral slight herbal noble hops lingering
Mouth is med to lighter bod, soft lager, nice crisp finish, med foamy carb
Overall a solid pilsner, Honest Weight knows how to do it, and this was a well done German pilsner, started a bit light, wish the malt was a little more up front, but great crisp noble hop bitterness on the finish

Glad to see this in tallboys fresh off the line.
A- Pours from the aforementioned can into a 40cl tall chalice with a fairly, for this style at least, cloudy uber pale straw yellow body. The cap shoots up very fast to four fingers high with good retention. A large belt remains around the edges of the beer and lacing sticks with small sheets.
S- Moderately malty aroma with plenty of hops, which in the end take over for the edge in overall strength with floral, spicy and herbal notes. Hints of honey and some lager funk that reminds me a bit of the skunk you find in some great Belgian brews. This character is not bad at all here, quite the opposite really.
T- A grassy hop bitterness resonates throughout a flavorful brew that showcases both good hops and grains. The malts leave honey, slight toasty cracker and bready notes with a light sweetness. Overall on the dry side. Hops are grassy, earthy, floral and spicy.
MF- Light-medium bodied with a very fluffy and puffy texture. Carbonation is at a high level and that bitterness lingers well into the aftertaste.
High quality Pilsner from my side of the state of MA in tallboys drinking very nicely. Hits the bitter note, the floral/spicy hops and a nice mouthfeel. All at 4.7% and you have a downright well brewed beer.

On tap at Armsby Abbey in Worcester, MA.
This one pours a very slightly hazy golden yellow, with a fluffy head and lots of lacing.
This smells like raw, grassy and spicy hops, rye, breadiness, and slightly sweet malt.
This is a really wonderful pilsner. It’s super crisp and clean, with a lightly floral and and piney hop flavor. There’s a touch of bready malt, and it just has a wonderfully smooth flavor.
This is crisp and really clean, with a very high level of drinkability.
If this represents the overall quality of this brewery, I need to try more.

Nearly clear with a light green hue to the lighter gold color. Moderate head leaves an initial ring of lace with streaks below.
Grainy with raw barley mixed with malted barley. No notable hop.
The taste leans to the malt but there's still a definitive raw grain element. Decent hop presence in the swallow making for a balanced aftertaste.

Enjoyed on tap at the Armsby Abbey.
A - Poured into a standard tulip a nice crystal clear straw hue with a thin head that fades to leave light lacing and thin wisps.
S - Aromas of light bready malts, flashes of slightly grassy hops. Decent biscuit notes a well, however, the nose is super super muted.
T - Taste is much more powerful the the nose. Really nice bready doughy notes as well as crackers. Throughout there is some real nice slightly bitter grassy hops. Finish is a nice combo of bread and bitterness.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, bright, crisp.
O - Overall this was a solid enough pilsner I just wish the nose wasn't as muted as it was.

Poured from a growler filled last night into the Pilsner glass.
A - Clear as day, Goldenrod colored backdrop hides nothing, the carbonation meanders topside. Frothy cap is quick to dissipate. Rings of evidence abound.
S - Grassy hops, floor swept malt, lemongrass and pleasure.
T - Follows the aromatics well, add a delightful snappy and slight peppery note
M - Crisp on the palate, with a near perfect balance from sweet malt to hop bite all happening in nanoseconds.
O - Another example of the true to form take this brewery executes, Crisp, clean and bright Pilsner with pitch perfect balance. So glad that more and more small operations are daring to tie up tank space with these results. Very well done
