A collaboration with Idle Hands. From the Brewer's Fork (Charlestown, MA) menu, "IPA fermented with Norwegian Kveik yeast and hopped with Styrian Wolf for notes of berry, honeydew, elderflower, and passionfruit [sic]."
Cloudy orange to white color. Lasting, tight bubbled head. Blanketing lace.
I smell tropical fruits of mango and pineapple. A bit biting hop as well.
Higher than expected carbonation but the base body holds up. The initial flavor is a very brief pale malt with berry fruit sweetness. The bittering hop is straightforward and overwhelms the the start. Long aftertaste, naturally.
