Blackinton is our Dark Lager. Made on a base of German Pilsner & Munich malts with supported Chocolate, Amber & Carafa malts. It pours a deep brown with ruby highlights and a creamy tan head. Flavors of toasted bread and bakers cocoa with balanced bitterness and a bright & dry finish. Extraordinarily drinkable, perfect for late winter and early spring days.

No can date
Pours a gigantic 3 finger off-white fizzy head that never seems to fade, layers of lacing, very dark brown color
nose oof, some roast and charred malts but yeast spice and infection I think, tangy almost sour with chocolate,
taste brings more of that yeast metallic continued fermentation in the can that shouldn't have been there, not quite infection, spicy tangy mess, with some roast and chocolate notes, hint of buttery diacetyl
Mouth is med lighter bod, a tad of diacetyl slickness, higher frothy carb
