NO can date
Pours a frothy foamy semi dense off-white moderate retention, fair soapy lacing, very hazy amber to auburn reddish color
Nose has a nice English barleywine aroma, fair sweet malt, a touch of caramel, nutty, toffee, with a nice biscuity malt, toasted reddish malt with bread crust, perfumey floral alcohol and phenol notes, with plenty of fruits, plum, fig, a little craisin, butter biscuits
Taste brings fair sweet malt, lots of toasted reddish malt, biscuity toffee, a bit of buttered biscuit and bread crust toast, sweet bread, plenty of fruits again, fig, raisin, date, a bit of plum and dark red berry, fair perfumey potpourri like smooth alcohol and a bit of spicy phenol notes, a bit of baking spice with cinnamon and even a touch of clove, mild stick semi dry finish, touch of bitter spicy hop notes
Mouth is med to fuller bod, med frothy carb, very light warming alcohol
Overall pretty nice, classic English barleywine, no barrel, no adjuncts or weird stuff, nice smooth alcohol, decent but not heavy hops, good malt, nice fruity esters and phenol notes. nice
