On tap in Houston. Cloudy orange pour. No head. No nose either. But a nice, bready flavor. Simple, clean, summer beer.

Pours a cloudy deep blonde / burnt orange. Minimal head fades quickly to almost nothing.
Nose is bready, biscuit malts w a moderate estery / yeasty presence.
Taste is bready, biscuit malts, cereal, very slight hop bitterness,
Crisp beer
Not bad. A reasonable blonde / lawnmower type beer. Nothing to write home about, but not something I won't finish either.

You've got to do a blonde every now and then.

Not impressed but this may be a great transition beer for light beer drinkers looking to venture out.

The best thing about this one is the packaging, which has a modern industrial look with an unapologetic vibe. An ideal candidate to represent Houston, TX. Unfortunately, as well-designed the can is, the taste leaves more to be desired. My taste buds were reminded of the malt liquor sensations of Red Dog. I'd start this one after the 5th beer.

Blondes are not my thing and this one just was not very good. It was refreshing enough, but the flavor was really offputting for me. It just didn't seem balanced.

On tap at the brewery.

A: Pours a pale yellow color that is slightly hazed. A one finger white head forms with little lace.
S: Pale malts, grains, and the lightest of hop bitterness. Really subtle, even for the style, but still not outright bad.
T: All grainy malts up front, and very cereal grain like. Light bitterness lingers, though very light. Obviously meant for the macro crowd, and I can't say this is much better.
M/O: Really light and watery. Like all the offerings the carbonation is not there for me. Fairly lifeless. For a macro substitute, this is not the worst.

Another mediocre offering. I am not impressed with this offering. Southern Star Bombshell and Real Ale Fireman's 4 are so much better options.
