Triple dry hopped with El Dorado, Motueka, & Citra this IPA packs loads of mango & stone fruit flavors. This fruitiness, along with minimal bitterness, makes this one of the easiest drinking IPAs around.

Only one hiccup: This bad sucker was canned on 4/28. Still, let’s go.
Damn sucker pours a beautiful banana yellow like King Kong’s last meal. A bit mild on the nose, but it still speaks to me like a coffee date that has had too much caffeine. On the tongue is soft and very smooth melon (that I think might be better if it wasn’t a bit old. You know, kind of like how Mamie Van Doren is still doing the damn thing, but imagine her in the 60’s, ya feel me?)
Peace.

Hops Drop pours a cloudy, hazy, orange, pineapple and mango blend of colors with a big head. It has a juicy juice blend of aromas and a strong hop presence. It tastes pretty much like pineapple, mango and guava and the hops are on the back end but lack bitterness. The mouthfeel is smooth and creamy. Overall a nice juice bomb. A 16 ounce can dated 04/28/21 "Trunks a Poppin"'

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance -The brew pours a super hazy yellow color with a one finger head of puffy white foam. The head has a good level of retention, slowly fading over time and leaving a good sum of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is strong of a very bready and yeasty smell mixed with lots of fruit. The fruit is a mix of tropical fruits of apple and pear as well as some aromas of tangerine, papaya, and pineapple. Along with these smells comes hop aromas of a herbal and floral nature as well as a bit of earth and hay.
Taste – The taste begins with a bready and yeasty taste as one might expect from the nose. At the same time there is a light level of fruit sweetness and a good showing of an herbal and pine hop. The fruit is initially mainly of a tangerine and orange flavor, but as the flavor advances these tastes fade a bit and are replaced by some light lemon sourness and some harvest fruits of pear and a bit of grape. Toward the end there are other hop tastes of a floral nature as well as more pine that comes to the tongue, leaving one with a somewhat malty and lightly, but less sweetly, fruited and decently hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium in thickness with a carbonation level that is medium to low. For the bready and yeasty tastes as well as the mix of hop and fruit, the feel is good and makes for a nice easy sipper.
Overall – A rather nice hazy IPA with a good overall balance of malt, hop, and light sweetness.

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy yellowish white in color. It poured with a half finger high white head that left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of lime and pineapple are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional hints of basil herbs.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied and a little juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This NEIPA has an interesting combination of lime and pineapple.
Serving type: can

Spotted this single in our better big craft retailer and the brewery’s name stuck in mind, hearing of it touted when on tap lately, so against better judgement I spent about $6.99 on the can. This is a hyped Houston brewery I’ve never tried. (Oh yeah, Houston Haze I did try once. Recall it was terrific). Let’s see here.
What a hazy pour, can to pint glass. Pineapple juice-like color/ form, whitish head that fizzles to half a finger wide.
The aroma popped with the can, then when I smell closer it’s like fresh and juicy yellow grapefruit pulp.
As I put my lips to the glass and tilt, it’s like, yellow mustard? I keep at it, it’s citrus/ grapefruit rind/ skin with a bitter bite on the hoppy finish while hints of stone fruit appear now and then. Fairly dry finish.
Feel is medium-thick and pleasantly chewy.
Yes this is very good. Tasty NEIPA. Maybe less flavorful than the impression I recall from their other IPA I tried. This really has a dry bite, but it also drinks nice from the can. They do seem to have it (their IPA game) down.
