Smoked peat, almost a sour mash kind of smell. Bourbon barrels evident in the woody flavor but not the bourbon burn which is non existant. Big syrupy type of beer with an almost cinnamon and mahogany. The creaminess of a bourbon multiplied with pastry undertones. A good good beer. Thick.
