Very interesting aftertaste. Unique color. I tasted oregano and sage. I liked it.

I liked this beer tremendously.

It is nicely hazy, yellow-orange. Its taste is terrific…not really bitter, it reminds me of pears. Very soft feel in the mouth.

There is nothing not to like here!

16oz can poured into a tulip

A- pours a murky dull orange with a one-finger foamy white head that has great retention

S- aroma smells like Mary J, with compliments of juicy tangerine & grapefruit, resin, some herbaceous notes, mango and ripe melon

T- juicy and resinous citrus leads the way with an emphasis on tangerine and zesty grapefruit. Mid-palate brings out tropical notes of mango, cantaloupe and kiwi. The finish is herbaceous, with lingers of zesty citrus and mango

M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that continues into a bit of a murky finish

Beautiful, soft tangerine yellow body with a soft, dense and creamy white head; heavy sheets of sticky foam coat the glass interior. Fine smell blend comprised of citrus and tropical fruit; citrus rind; mild sweetness; biscuit. Bold citrus and bitterness flavor; cereal grain and biscuit taste; dull sweetness mixing with a citrus tanginess. Medium to heavy body; mild tanginess on the palate; big residual sugar presence; semi-sweet throughout.

This is a rather tasty and somewhat unique tasting double IPA. Granted, it has about two months of age on it before I got to it, but there is a delightful earthiness to the taste, and the looks and mouthfeel are hard to beat.

Poured at 54° F; bottom of can data: 04/15/2021 GETTING STICKY WITH IT

Serving: 1 pint can (“04/15/21 gettin’ sticky with it”) poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass.

Appearance: Very hazy, pale golden yellow with a billowing head of frothy white foam. Long lasting head and thick, streaky lace.

Smell: Woodsy earthy, pine resin, subtle tropical fruit and brighter citrus.

Taste: Full and balanced, with plenty of citrus zest and juice, pine needles and dank, earthy notes. Complementary malt sweetness and moderate bitterness round things out.

Mouthfeel: Medium body, lush, creamy feel, and moderate but soft carbonation.

Overall: Terrific NEIPA, well executed in its look, feel and balance.

Pours a very cloudy yellow color with a finger width foamy head. Head retention and lacing are very good. Juicy citrus aroma. Just wonderful! Creamy, heavy bodied, juicy citrus taste with a hint of nutty earthiness to it. Just a wonderful brew!
