Hop terpenes play a significant role with our hazy IPA creations, rich with diverse and unique sensory experiences - like music for your mouth.
This version of Stereochemistry DIPA is created from our classic hazy DIPA base coming in at 8% ABV. 2-row barley, flaked oats, and carafoam in the mash create a soft, pillowy mouthfeel base with layers of mosaic and citra hops in the whirlpool and dry hop. With mosaic hops being dominate in this recipe, you can expect bright sweet citrus aroma with notes of tropical fruit and berry. Citrus juice dominates the flavor followed by candied apricot and pineapple with a gentle bitterness evocative of sweet orange pith.

L-One and a half fingered head with a light straw-yellow colored body. Very dusty and almost orange juice like in appearance. Not finding much carbonation present in the body.
S-On the nose I get a strong aroma of pine resin up front. This is followed by an almost vegetal and earthy note. Somewhat woody as well. A bit of unpronounced spiciness lingers as well. Slight malty sweetness follows. Very slight tropical fruit is there as well, mainly citrus-based fruits like tangerine.
T-Overall the flavor of this beer is subtle, yet interesting and unique. The combination of four different hop variants results in a very interesting amalgamation of flavors. The loud pine resin is right up front, followed by a grassy/earthy flavor. Slightly spicy mouthfeel. There are some slight vanilla and toffee notes as well as a nice pop of stone fruit. Surprisingly, there is only a slight bit of citrus hered. A rewarding bitter bite is very much there at the end.
F-Creamy. Higher carbonation than expected. This makes for a crisp almost drying finish.
O-I really enjoyed this beer. In a saturated market of hazy IPA's this beer absolutely sets itself apart. It's subtle, yet very deep in flavor. There is a lot to get out of this beer and it begs you to take time and appreciate it's nuances. As the beer states, it's "Music for your mouth".

Had this beer from tap at a local Houston restaurant, poured into a tulip glass. Bright hazy yellow color with decent head and good lacing. Smell and taste of grapefruit, mango and pineapple. Smell better than taste. Smooth somewhat pillowy feel. Good but not great NEIPA.

Pours up hazy yellow-orange with a slightly off-white head that reduces down to a thick film, leaving specs of lacing. Almost looks like carbonated orange juice, but the kind without pulp. Smells amazing, with pineapple and other mixed citrus fruits and strong dank. Wonderfully hoppy; not sweet, very bitter. Balanced hop-malt bill. Definitely a real-deal DIPA. Not any of that adjunct nonsense. Fairly high carbonation, but when matched with the hop bitterness, it creates a well balanced "sparkly" kind of mouthfeel. ABV is there but not annoying. Easy drinking; not syrupy or filling. Overall I give it almost straight 5's. Love it.

Pours a very cloudy golden yellow color with a thick foamy head. Head retention is very good as is lacing. Citrus aroma with hints of piney resin. Maybe slight strawberry. Juicy citrus and berry on the taste with piney resin at the end. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Stereochemistry DIPA has a thin, white head and an opaque, milky-gold appearance, with some lacing. The aroma is of fruit and white bread. The flavor is similar, with moderate bitterness and some sweetness. The body is medium, and Stereochemistry DIPA finishes mostly dry.
