2/4/17 (Draft, Pocock Brewery, Valencia) A nice hop aroma and a balanced hop/malt character. A great representation of West Coast IPA. A very good effort here. 3.9

On tap at Pocock Brewing Company in Santa Clarita, CA.
Pours a murky dark honey orange with a foamy tan head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus fruit, citrus zest, and grapefruit juice aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest, grapefruit juice, and earthy hop flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with very grapefruit forward hop characteristics all around.
Serving type: on tap.
