The appearance was a burnt pale yellow/orange to creamy off white hazy sort of blend in the color. Quickly dissipating head. No lace. The aroma had some white pepper, citrus pulp, citrus rind, banana and tangerine. Some light bready malts come in for a slight balance. The flavor blended the white pepper spice to the sweet citrus and bready malts. Blended spice to malts aftertaste. Quick semi-sweet finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation. Though the ABV was a bit higher for the style, it felt that high too. Overall, not a bad Belgian IPA or white IPA if that’s what the kids are calling them these days. Worthy to have preferably in the Spring or Summer.
