L: Very Pale yellow hue. Translucent. Fizzy one finger stark head sizzles down to a wisp quickly and leaves no lace behind.
S: Tangerine, with a massive kick of lemon juice concentrate, and some sea water In there.
T: Follows the nose. Very concentrated lemon sourness, tinny and acrid like battery acid. But it does have the faintest sweetness to round off the finish.
F: Quite thin and pretty high carbonation. I do like how cleanly it finishes. No funk.
O: For the ABV it is impressive. You gotta really like the dry acrid lemon of this brew though to love it. It was a little over the top for me.

Wow, this is good! Poured from can into standard glass. No head to speak of. No lacing either. But I don’t care.
The look is wonderful. Hazy orange.
But the smell is awesome! Slightly sweet orange juice. Mouth watering on hot summer days.
The flavor is also orange-y, but considerably dryer on the palate. More like orange rind. I detect very little of the salinity associated with goses. Which is fine with me, as I’m not a big fan of salty ale.
Good carbonation and very refreshing. My only quibble is that I wish the ABV was a few percent higher. Like 8% or 9%.
But overall, you can’t go wrong with this if you like tart mouth puckering ales.

On tap at ITap CoMo. Poured a slightly cloudy, golden orange color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of so much citrus. So much citrus zest. Big citrus taste with tart lemon and hints of saltiness

this is the best beer these guys have made so far, at least in my opinion, and to be honest, even though its a little old, it has aged real well, and it makes me think there are wild yeasts in here too, funky living stuff that has improved this over time. for one the label is epic, so pretty and well designed, but also, the beer in the bottle is sensational. the orange is super forward still, not sure it could have been any more intense when it was fresh, just zesty peel and pith, true to the fruit like crazy, and really refreshing. interesting too, the juicy orange peel part of the orange and the lacto have a great bond, the salt, which isnt subtle, amplifies it, and the hops are all tropical and dank, and this ends up being one of the most random and awesome beers of the year for me, just so forward and bright on the orange, and hoppy and salty and dry but wheaty and fuller bodied too. orders of magnitude more refined than the grapefruit which came later, and truly, i think, one of the best sour beers in the midwest right now. certainly this is my favorite from crane, although they are all very good. i know its been out for some time, but if you see one, please treat yourself. this is absolutely not to be missed. their best work at crane so far...

Bottled on 3/14/16
Hazy golden orange with a finger of foam initially that fades to a patchy surface skim with a little bit of spotty lace.
Dry hop aroma comes through right away, green botanicals and juicy orange.
Crisp and clean with a moderate tartness verging on sour. Juicy orange flavor lingers after an initial burst of citric acidity. Light bodied with ample carbonation. Overall this is a nice slight variation on the original, though it would benefit from a little more intensity.

I really liked this one. It was citrusy and tart, just the right level of tart. Beautiful hazy orange color, with a fizzy white head that quickly died out. Perfect beer for the hot island days here. Wish I had access to it more. If I were to go back to KC, I would bring more back in a heart beat. Well done!

Pours a hazy and opaque orange with a medium white head. Head retention is poor, with no lacing left behind. Tangy orange zest, with resin and citrus hop notes in the aroma. The taste is tangy and will make you pucker a little bit. Zesty orange notes set it of with resin and citrus hop notes coming in later. Mouth feel is thin, and otherwise unmemorable. Overall, it's a fun beer to drink. It's quite tangy, and I'm sure it would be a little more juicy a week or more fresh. I would recommend it though.
