On tap. Poured a hazy, golden color with a small, tan head of foam. It smelled of cracked wheat, sea salt and hints of grapefruit. It had a tart grapefruit taste with touch of lemon and a hint of salt.

the newest in their lineage of delicious dry hopped fruited gose, i think these guys not only have some of the sexiest packaging in the game, but also are producing some of the top ales in kansas city, hands down. this is special beer, and although the grapefruit is nice and fresh and genuine and all, its obvious that they have fond a really nice base recipe for a gose and are messing with it in all kinds of awesome ways. salty enough, super clean, and like chewy vitamins in being sour and bitter enough but still attractive. its very well done, and with all the wheaty body it seems perfect to showcase different fruits. i reckon the orange dry hopped is a little more unique and dramatic than this one, but what a good beer it is, very breakfasty with the wheat and the grapefruit, all pulpy and tart. healthy even. good tang, and the hops are new world type, also citrusy and tropical, a perfect compliment, and far more interesting overall than the not dry hopped version, it seems to really like and need these hops. a special bottle of beer, these guys are doing some amazing stuff and this latest release is among their best work. really some of the best gose style beers in the country right now. i mean it.
