Pours a very dark, dark brown with a finger of khaki foam. Aroma is raisins, plum, dark fruits, port, cherry, oak and roasty, toasty, caramely malts with a little needle prick of sour. Flavor profile is oak, port, tart cherry, dark fruits, plum, apple spice and raisins all layered over roasty, caramely, bready malts. It has a light sour character throughout, which lightens it up significantly. Mouth feel is medium-thin with a crispy start and a fuzzy, blurry finish. Overall, depth is fantastic with a lovely little sour culture among the dark and complex notes. Like a light within a dark hallway.

12.7oz bottle. Poured out a dark, brown color with a small, thin, khaki-colored head. It smelled of dark sour fruits, port wine and oak. Sweet port-like flavors with sour black cherry and toffee.
