Pours a translucent copper-yellow with a finger of white foam. Head does not linger long. Aroma is cellar stone, biscuity, grassy, nutty malts and a twinge of oak and honey. It smells very simple, with just a light twinge of lactic sour build-up at the back. Flavor profile brings about a little more nuance, with the initial honey, grassy, lemony, cellar stone qualities mingling with a touch of plum and fig towards the finish. While the opening isn't very sour, it takes a dramatic turn about mid-way, although it never cuts over the threshold of what is uncomfortable. Mouth feel is light and thin with a thin, moderate crispness. Overall, pieced together well folding together a little sweetness before a sour punch.

Served in a 15.5oz Speigalau tulip from a 375mL bottle.
