Inspired by beloved concession candy, this berliner weiss with blueberries, lactose, and blue raspberry candy was brewed in collaboration with Armour Theater and in honor of our local theaters.

Hazy purplish pink color with a modest foamy white head that retains as just a thin ring but does produce some lacing.
The aroma is lemon with blueberries with a definite sour background.
The taste is more blueberry forward with lemon following, very pronounced sourness - sour ale plus lemon tartness.
The body is light/medium with a prickly effervescence.
Altogether this is an interesting brew, blueberry lemonade with a sour ale backbone, refreshingly tart, should be especially good for warm weather.

Pours the color of grapefruit pulp with a finger of fizzy white head. Aroma is blueberry, raspberry, stone, tart, and a dose of lactose. Berries hit hard, with the other notes hitting softly. Flavor profile is big blueberry with mild blue raspberry, lactose, and stone. It leans into tartness as the flavor profile progresses, and after the initial sugary berry notes fade. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a prickly start that slows towards the finish. Overall, blueberry is really lovely, especially when combined with the mild tartness throughout.

12oz can from Tavour. Muddy rose colored pour, flat. Aroma is blueberry lemonade. Taste is tart with a much bigger lemon footprint, berries sit in the background. Very much like lemonade.

A: The beer is hazy reddish purple in color. It poured with a minuscule ring of white bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of sour blueberries are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional notes of raspberry Jolly Rancher-like candy and associated hints of sweetness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and a bit tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found the contrast of sourness and sweetness to be interesting in this beer.
Serving type: can
