I had this beer on-tap in a nonic glass at the brewery.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a dash of haze and a very thin layer of ivory foam atop. Though they poured the pint without much head, there is still a nice lace on the glass as I drink.
Smell: moderately sweet, toasty malt with a citrusy, but also musty hop aroma. It’s okay.
Taste: sweetish with a somewhat juicy citrus rind character; not as musty as the aroma, which is welcome.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a reasonably decent if unremarkable classic American IPA.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Growler pour. Pours a lightly hazy medium golden amber with a one finger white head with great retention and lacing. Aroma of light bready malt, grassy, dank and citrus hops, orange and lemon citrus, mint. Flavor is bready biscuit malt, piney, grassy and citrus hops, mint and lemon citrus. Finishes with lingering resinous grassy and piney hops. Medium bodied with light creaminess. Starts like a British style IPA, grassy with good biscuit, but rapidly develops a more piney and citrus profile, finishing like the Northwest IPA it is. Hops lean towards the bittering end of the spectrum with mild herbal flavors, but a good hop bill with a spectrum of pine and citrus notes. Nice introduction to this brewery.
