Poured into an English pint glass, the appearance was a ruddy burnt orange almost amber color with a cap of a white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Messy lacing. The aroma had a subtle grassy sweet hoppiness flowing over some caramel to toasty malts and a slight edge of earthiness to slide in decently. The flavor smoothly leads with the malts and the grassy to earthy hops slide in underneath. A rich malty aftertaste leading into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation. ABV felt accordingly. Overall, good English Bitter worthy of coming back to and definitely having again with its respected food.
