Big thanks to kemoarps for this beauty as part of NBS BIF #3.
Pours a cloudy gold with a quick to leave off white head that relaxes to a lasting ring. Some bubbly lace is deposited with a swirl of glass.
What a cool aroma, it has a bit of an earthy funk note which strikes me almost like a light Brett thing going on, with citrus and bready malt the other players in a med. strength and delectable bouquet.
The taste is pretty faithful to the aroma, with nice fruity notes at the beginning of the sip and some herbal bitter joining the party toward the end of sip that marries the citrus pith and earthy spice, and makes a wonderful finish. Simple and delicious taste.
Not sure if low carb. is a function of the liquid, and presumably CO2, leaked in transit, but it is wonderfully low carb., medium viscosity, medium body, with a killer super dry finish. Really well attenuated and highly resinous, but the linger stays clean and wonderful.
Delicious treat, highly recommended. Well. done, Cloudburst!
