Pours a cloudy, pale yellow-orange color with a thin white head that quickly dissipates into a crown and leaves some cobwebby lacing.

Muted aroma of melon and grapefruit with a faint spiciness behind.

Pretty unique taste. Peppery, with papaya, mixed citrus, slight mango, slight banana, nutty malt, orange rind and a bitter, somewhat chalky aftertaste. Medium bodied with low carbonation and a slightly pulpy feel.

Ain't all that glitters is gold, but this one's pretty solid.

Slight scratch on the finish.
Creamy, halfway to medium, some oil. 4

Citra and Hallertau Blanc.

Juicy and turbid, with some orchard fruit. On trend and on target for New England. My hopes are rising for Cloudburst. 4.25

Pour is an opaque light gold that emulates all the rage these days with a slightly muddy tinge to it. Pale apricot. Head starts off tight and white and settles into a good lacy topping and decent lacing as the level drops.

Nose is incredible off the bat with juicy tropical fruits primarily mango and some melon. Initial pour gave me a faint hint of berries but they're nowhere to be found anymore, while further exploration reveals a shadow of the grainy malts and what isn't actually a whiff of pepper but I want to say it almost was.

Flavour is not as pronounced as the aroma was, opting to blend into a more subdued palette for your palate. A soft entry point with a blush of apricot that blossoms into a blunted pithy bitter finish.

The bitterness of the finish doesn't hammer you, but builds and stands firm through the immediate future. Light bodied, with perky levels of carbonation. Maybe a touch sweet to drink too much of at once. 6.9% doesn't seem like much and you don't really taste it or anything, but by the bottom of the glass (still have ~60% of the grunt to go) I'm already feeling it. Maybe that's the lack of breakfast.

The beer comes with a medium haze in a medium gold color.

Aroma hits of green pellet hops, bready malts, citrus zest.

The flavor hits of ripe honey dew, white grape, juicy white grapefruit, zest, a bready sweetness, onto a medium to medium plus bitterness with pine, a bit of spice.
