I had this beer on-tap at the brewery in a big drinking glass.
Appearance: cloudy rich black-brown hue with a thick finger of tan foam. A good lace is left on the glass as the head dissipates.
Smell: roasty with an element of a dry Irish stout and a bit of sweeter American style stout. Well-rounded and interesting.
Taste: dry, charred, roasty and bitter; a good flavor indeed. It's not super complex, but it's clean and well-engineered.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a very standard stout in formulation, but well-executed and very tasty.
