I had this beer on-tap at the brewery in a big drinking glass.
Appearance: medium golden hue with plenty of haze and a thin layer of frothy ivory foam.
Smell: some light grassy hops and a small dose of buttery diacetyl. I'm not sure whether that's intended, but for me it doesn't really belong in a pale ale.
Taste: it's kind of a butter bomb. There is a good hop character here, and I don't know if the butter is on purpose, but it takes a lot away for me.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess. This batch of Cloudburst beers have some nice textures.
Overall: the diacetyl doesn't totally kill things for me. However, I feel like it doesn't belong in the style in this quantity.
