Ministry of Truth is a dark dark beer with a tan head and nice lacing. The smell is of blackberries. The typical dark roasted malts from a stout are there, but they are a bit in the background. The same is true for the flavor. There's some spice, probably cinnamon. The body is a bit lighter than a typical stout. The 8% ABV isn't at all noticeable. Overall, I like the way this beer blends the blackberries into the stout. It reminds me of a blackberry chocolate truffle, well, not the chocolate part.
