Pours black with one finger of khaki foam. Head retention is good. Aroma is roasty, toasty malts with heavy bourbon, chocolate, cocoa, and milk behind it. It smells like a slightly boozy chocolate milk. Flavor profile is a little more hearty, but all the same qualities - bourbon, chocolate and milk - like some sort of boozy chocolate milkshake. Mouth feel is medium, which feels just a touch thin considering the rest of the beer. It has a soft velvety, creaminess akin to a glass of Ovaltine mixed into whole milk. Overall, really superb. Big chocolate and bourbon notes without coming off as boozy.
