The last couple of beer I drank has been good, and; furthermore, I am stoked to try another one. Poured into a pint glass at 37 degrees. The appearance of the beer is a one finger creamy head with good retention. The head did leave lacing on the glass. The color of the beer is SRM 4, straw to a pale amber color. The clarity of the beer is clear with no haziness. The beer does present with some carbonation bubble.
The first aroma of the beer is weak hops note with a lightly toasted malt note. The hops in the beer are floral with some grapefruit and pine. Additional aromas in the beer are yeast, tropical, and some grassy notes.
The beer has a lightly toasted malt, pine, and floral notes. Additional flavors I detect is pine, resin, lightly toasted malt, earthy, grassy, and citrus.
The mouthfeel of the beer is a medium body, with a medium-plus carbonation, medium astringency, and a medium finish.
The pale is just okay. Nothing about the double pale ale strikes me an amazing beer.
