Draught pint at Mick O'Shea's here in Baltimore: I can barely smell the coffee, but I can definitely taste it: I normally take less milk & sugar in mine.

Pouring from a can purchased less than a week ago.
Look: Pours jet black with a tan (approx 1 finger) head. The head breaks down almost immediately post pour and nothing remains post breakdown.
Smell: Coffee. I hope you like coffee b/c that will be the theme of this review from here out.
Taste: Basically this beer tastes like an iced coffee, but an iced coffee that has been made.....sat for a while, let the ice melt. The flavor of coffee (Easton Maryland's own Rise Up coffee) is good. There is some slight sweetness that pops in from time to time. That said, this beer is pretty one note: a black iced coffee.
Feel: Watery and slick much like an iced coffee that had been sitting around and all of ice had melted. Not getting any body or velvety feel that you'd expect from an oatmeal stout.
Overall: I was told this was from a brewer that helped create EVO's Rise Up Stout. Not sure if that's true but if that's the case, I have to admit that I'm disappointed. This is a drinkable beer, but it seems to be more coffee forward than beer forward.

12 ounce can in my nice stout glass.
Crude oil black in color. No cap, head, froth - nothing on top at all. No lacing, not even a spot!
The aroma is of light and sweet decaf coffee.
Flavor of light and sweet coffee. Lots of milk and sugar. More milk and lactose than anything else.
Very light body, like a cup sweet and weak light roast coffee. No oats for body.
I'm not getting the English oatmeal stout here. More of a light, sweet milk stout. The beer is not listed on the brewery's website (as of this review). Escondido?

On draft, pint glass
Very dark brown, black, but not totally opaque. Head fades quickly. Strong coffee aroma, but someowhat sweet like with cream and sugar. Similar flavor, coffee and milk chocolate flavor. Medium bodied, slick oily feel.
