2019 version, labeled as a Russian Imperial Stout on the can, (drink by 2025), poured into a tulip glass. Pitch black pour, with just a ring of off tan lace. Aroma is deep chocolate, cocoa, coffee, bourbon barrel, and vanilla. The taste is a mix of brownie mix, cold brew, vanilla, and barrel notes. Very well balanced in the taste department, everything melds together well, and there is a touch of heat on the finish. Mouthfeel is full, with a medium low amount of carbonation. Overall, a very solid barrel aged RIS. Thanks to Tim for the assist.
