From the can, it pours a clear amber color with a very nice off-white head that lasts. The nose gets some pine and citrus - pineapple. The mouth gets some grapefruit/citrus over some malt.

Can art with big honking crabs on it is generally better than can art without. Just saying. This is a easy drinking beer with a pleasant character and idealized appearance. Pretty nice balance with some real pine inspired bitterness in the aftertaste. A bit more flavor than your average version of this style, not bad at all.

Slightly hazy light amber, nice white head, great retention, nice lace
Grapefruit hop aroma, a little bit of black currant, some caramel malt underneath
Grapefruit, black currant and a little bit of pine flavor riding on top of a caramel and toast malt backbone
Medium bodied with appropriate carbonation
Sorta like an amped up Sierra Nevada pale ale. Good stuff

Amber appearance with an average size off white head an light lacing. Aroma of herbal, spicy hops and earthy malts. Nicely balanced taste, moderately bitter, minimal sweetness. Medium bodied, decently carbonated mouthfeel with a dry finish.
