Not sure if this is "Volume 1" since all the can says is "TRIPTYCH-NEIPA." The ABV matches, though, so I'm gonna assume it's the right one.
Pour is actually aesthetically pleasing for an NEIPA: it's got some white hop oil haze but it doesn't look like the trub at the bottom of the carboy.
Aroma is bright and hoppy: again, pleasant. Aggressive without being overwhelming. Citrusy with some light spice.
Tastes like oranges up front, spice in the middle, and spice + peaches in the back end. Finish is surprisingly clean with just a bit of hop bitterness lingering.
Overall very enjoyable. Can't say it quite justifies its pricetag, but, hey, that's just what craft beer is in the 2020's.
