Pitch black pour with thin tan head..Stays as a cover leaving receding lace. For whatever reason I'm getting tart fruits on the nose...and in the flavor..Tart up front and through the middle along with a somewhat acidic finish. On a scale of 1 to 5 the mouthfeel is a 2.5..Lacking for the style IMO. Not a bad beer by most means but seems (to me) to be out of bounds for the listed style.
