I can't even begin to count up how many hours that I have spent here over the past year, always had a great time and always enjoyed going out to Tap after a long day. This is exactly what a small town bar should be, walking up on a weekend night there is usually some music going on the (now covered) patio yet is never quite too crowded to consider turning away. The interior is cozy and warm, a variety of tables and seating makes it easy to drink if you come with a group or just wander in by yourself. In the front they have some vintage games on the desks which are really cool and which me and my coworkers have played before which was so much fun. The bartenders are good, if you drink go in a few times they will learn your name and are super friendly. When it's a little crowded service can get slow but generally you'll never wait more than a few minutes for beer.

Their selection isn't the most expansive, but they have have a good ten local beers on tap at any one time along with twenty or so bottles behind the bar including a few of the more standard macrobrews. This is the place that got me into beer and i'm absolutely glad that they didn't have budweiser on tap or I may have never even tried craft beer. Typically they have quite a few beers from Foothill on tap, but they rotate out so you'll have to see what's there. Whatever you get though, if you are a meat-eater I have to recommend for you go for the ploughman's lunch for your first beer. For three dollars extra (or two if you drink the more expensive beers on tap), you get your pint in addition to a huge slab of turkey or ham, white cheddar, pickled onions, and apple slices to go along with your drink. Always delicious and hits the spot when you wash it down with your beer. The rest of the food is alright, but this for me definitely wins out over everything else they have.

This will always be among my favorite places to drink.
