Light golden color with 2 fingers of white head. The nose is a nice biscuity and mild hay scent with just a bit of honey and orange peel. The taste is sweet and grainy not unlike honey nut Cheerios. The finish is a mild bitterness but the sweet notes linger and remain. The mouthfeel is a bit watery. Refreshing and easy beer. (Found my old notes on this one)

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a Trillium glass.
Look is a dark reddish orange with a full white head.
Aroma is sweet orange and biscuit malt.
Definitely a full bodied beer, lots of body and malt with a clear citrus hop presence. A little astrigent at the end.

12 oz bottle in Mammoth Hot Springs, Yellowstone NP.
Clear dark amber body topped by a creamy bone colored head.
Excellent clarity and head retention.
Malty aroma for style, with grains and hops at about equal strength.
Mild bitterness with relatively malty flavor for style. Hops pick up in the finish and aftertaste.
Medium-full body with medium carbonation.
Overall: drinks like a hoppy brown ale.

Bought at a general store in canyon village. I don't know what it smells like because I have a cold sorry bois. Doesn't taste like Montana, but is a little pale. It is bitter but the hops do little to add to the flavor. There is a very frothy aftertaste and the feel is something akin to seafoam. Compared to other highlander beers, I was a bit dissapointed
