objectively better than the terpene spiked version called space ducky, but still i think overdone a little on the hops, its not clean or refreshing on the swallow, it feels highly dosed, it stays with me awhile, and even though there is a lot to like here, it doesnt drink like pils at all, and for me its a little forced and out of proportion, as much as i do enjoy most of whats happening here, this feels a little more refined and overall more palatable than the other version, but still not one to make a day of, which is kind of what pils is generally about for me, so a little miss there, but the hops are cool, very southern hemisphere, fruit forward without being tropical in the usual sense, definite sativa, kiwi fruit, green melon and green gooseberry, springy white wine and cut flowers, a little oily intensity that kind of permeates the tongue, smells and tastes about the same, maybe a little more balanced in the aroma. there is a long linger that isnt bitter for it being this hoppy, not green either, but pungent in a way that limits drinkability, late pineapple to me, lemongrass, light perfume, this isnt way out there like the other one, but all this hop intensity does come at the expense of pils elements, the grain is way back in here and its hard to really appreciate any lager yeast, although this is dry for sure. better, distinctive for sure, but could still be toned down a bit i reckon...
