A decent enough stout with ample body, color, and tastiness. Not overly strong in any single category it tended toward the weak side of the style being somewhat watery and a bit less dark than many stouts. The head was minimal, somewaht typical for the style, but the lace was adequate. Aroma content was more roasted than smoky and the flavors were a bit understated with no strong single presence to impress the palate. A good stout, but not a great stout.
