RBESG 2016 in Barcelona. On tap at the brewpub. Black colour. Aroma and flavour are malty and moderately roasty. Not the most impressive imperial stout around, but fair enough.

Notes: Typical appearance with a black body and tan head. The aroma is roasty, chocolatey, cocoa-ish, nutty, smoky, caramelish, tobacco-like, subtly toasty, and fruity with red grape. The flavor follows. Nicely balanced. A beer that shows refinement and finesse, not American brashness.
