Poured from 440mL can into a tumbler. Canned 9/12/23 and purchased at the brewery. This is labeled as a "session IPA"; this batch is 4.8%.
Appearance: light orange hue with a moderate-to-heavy haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop. The look is telegraphing Orange Julius, which pleases me.
Smell: sweetish malt with rather orangey hops and a hint of herbal character. Perhaps not entirely Orange Julius, but good nonetheless.
Taste: very orange zest heavy; there's a light sweetness but it's a bit overshadowed by the bitterness. I happen to like it, but I could see it being a little bit polarizing. Still, a good flavor depth for a lower-alcohol beer (lower alcohol for this type of IPA, anyway).
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good, well-integrated carbonation and a smooth creaminess.
Overall: a good stab at a session hazy IPA. I mean, it's only 4.8%, so they have left themselves a little bit of room to work with. I like the low(ish) ABV, and I'd drink this again.

Onion! Plenty of citrus, too. Nice + easy. Spain is on the NEIPA tip now, too.

Can. From Decervecitas. In water cup. At Barcelo Punta Umbria. Good, fruity, but with really strong hop burn and dryness in end that doesnt make it truly sessionable. However, helps hiding its light body. And enjoying it makes you feel really manly!
