Copenhagen 9/9 2023. 44 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Steel can with blue label just saying Soup in yellow under a small red piece of lightning.
Pours opaque orange with a small white head. Stable. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet fermented and fruity odor mingling with a subtle tart scent of citrus fruit. Mango, and overripe peach. Hints of decay. Sharp grapefruit and lemon.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, yet lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a a hint of petroleum. Lingering. Finish is dry with a gentle sear.
Powerful soup,

On tap at the brewery. Hazy golden color with off-white head. Aroma has dank and juicy hop notes with some yeast character in the background. Taste follows with overripe stonefruits, mango and candied orange. Just a light touch of bitterness on the finish. A pretty good juicy DIPA.

From Tercertiempocervezas. In Teku glass. Playing Avernum 4. Pleasantly sweet, with lght resin notes. Abv well hidden. Good but I prefer the normal soup. This one has less intensity in the flavors.

Smell is potent and dank with notes of melon and citrus.
Taste is intensely juicy with big waves of citrus and melon melding with a moderate bitterness and some sweetness.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and pillowy, well carbonated.
Overall, a terrific NE DIPA. The little Soup is one of the best in Europe, and this is not far behind.
