Collaboration with Outer Range Brewing Co.
Colorado's Outer Range are gaining huge plaudits for their beers over the last couple of years and when there IPA's are so good it's no surprise. So while they were on a recent trip to Europe they came down to Garage HQ and we brewed up a juicy DIPA borrowing a technique that they have become known for. Adding a small sprinkling of a German noble like hop to what is a very juicy hop bill may not be common but it adds a new dimension to a style that always welcomes a new take. In this case we built a very fluffy malt base on which we layered loads of Citra, Azacca, Azacca Cryo and a touch of Saphir T45 pellets.

A 440ml can, with no canned on or best before date. Poured into a winebar glass.
Appearance: A hazy orange colour, with a just over one finger white head that had good retention, and left lots of nice lacing.
Aroma: A little muted, but there’s orange, citrus zest, melon, grass, pine, and maybe a touch herbal.
Taste: Light sweetness and a nice light bitterness on the finish. Orange, citrus rind, mango, with notes of pine.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: It got better the more I drank it, but this could have been because I was a bit disappointed with the aroma at the beginning. There was a good sweet and bitter balance with strong citrus notes.

De Labirratorium. En copa shaker Garage. Jugando a Fortnite y estudiando. Con galletas Tostarica. Sensación cremosa en boca y agradable perfil afrutado, rollo melocotón, en el que el alcohol se nota algo pero no empaña nada
