Poured from 440mL can into a tumbler. Canned 9/8/23 and purchased at the brewery.
Appearance: medium golden hue with plenty of haze and a layer of frothy eggshell foam atop.
Smell: a little sweet with a light citrusy, herbal, piney hop character. Not too bad, kinda west-coasty-ey.
Taste: sweeter than the aroma suggested; this is definitely where I'm tasting the honey part of this beer. Hops are a bit citrusy, and the honey and fruitiness combine to give kind of a floral character. It's not bad on the face of things, but I'm honestly not a huge fan of honey in this application.
Mouthfeel: medium-rich body wtih a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: like I said, it's not objectively a bad beer or anything, and it might find an audience. For me, the sweetness is a bit too much, and the whole thing is a bit over the top.
