A- 12oz tall bottle poured into a tulip with a deep ruby red body and a massive off-white cap. The head reaches about two fingers high with a thick creamy texture and good retention. Thick sheets of lacing.
S- Lacks aromatic strength but what I do get is something that reminds me of a spiced loaf of bread. Hints of cinnamon and nutmeg with fruity yeast esters and breadiness.
T- Rounds itself out here and the strange yeasty fruitiness I got a ton of in the aroma fades out for the most part leaving behind a mix of spices and browned toasted grains. Cinnamon, nutmeg and a touch of clove play into the balancing toasted bready, nutty and caramel malts. Spice mix not overpowering.
MF- Smooth light-medium body with a mostly puffy texture and some foaminess on the palate. High end carbonation comes off very smoothly as a hint of bitterness lingers in the finish with spicy hints.
Still drinking pretty well even though winter is certainly dead in 2016. Well balanced spices play off of the base of toasty and bready grains.

Faint aroma of nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves and wheat. Moderate carbonation. Tastes of spice, banana, raisins, cinnamon, toasted bread and a bit of wood. Starts off with a nice mouthful of flavor but dissipates quickly; a little flat on the back-end. Gotta give credit to their mission and charitable focus. Hopefully they can brew up a winner.
