Bottle to nonic pint glass, the appearance was a murky dark yellow to pale orange color with a fingers worth of white foamy to fizzy white head that swiftly fell off. Sliding lace. The aroma had some sweet wheat, light citrus, some bubblegum, butterscotch and vanilla. Odd combination, but hey, thats what I got. The flavor was sweet all of the way through. If only those citrusy hops could impart some bitterness, but alas, nope, they didnt. Aftertaste was the bubblegum, butterscotch, vanilla and wheat. Finish was quick and wheaty. The palate was between light and medium bodied with an okay sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine. Overall, between the aroma and the flavor, this is one odd wheat ale. If that was intentional, Id think these guys were off their rockers, but hey, there werent any real off flavors.
