Our enhanced version of Summer St. IPA features a secondary dry hopping with Simcoe which leads to a fuller mouthfeel, amplified nose, and an intensified depth of grassy, raw hop character. Double Dry Hopped Summer Street is hazy, sunflower gold in appearance with strong aromatics of pine and lemon. Bold flavors of juicy tangerine, pine resin, and green pear dominate the palate with modest bitterness and a dry finish.

Cloudy, milked out orange color. (Hope that makes sense). Frothy white head leads to superbv lacing. Nose is citrus, peach melon. Taste was a menage of flavors, melon, pine, lemon grass, nothing specific but everything specific at same time. Good bitterness on backened.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy cream white head that settles to a firm layer and laces beautifully.
S: Soft tropical, stone fruit, and melon, spicy grassy notes, citrus, a touch of pine, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Resinous, quick hit of pine that's overtaken by citrus, grapefruit, lemon, and tangerine, grassy, a bit of peppery spice, underlying fruity notes, green pear and melon, apricot, and a hint of passion fruit, light biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate.
O: I feel like I'm missing something here. It's fine, but given its reputation I expected to be wowed. Instead just kinda I'm whelmed. Back when this first came out I don't doubt that it really stood out, but today I wouldn't say it's anything overly special.
(I am curious how they pulled out that green pear and melon flavor from Columbus and Simcoe.)

Picked-up a four-pack of cans at Trillium in Canton for about twenty dollars. My 53rd brew from these guys. Very good, $.

2 months old. Can to wine glass.
Look: Pours a hazy light yellow with a white, large-pored head that dissipates quickly without leaving any lacing. No floaters.
Smell: Very fresh citrus fruits. Mainly lemon with just a bit of orange. Hints of apricot and mango. Hoppy and grassy.
Taste: Yellow citrus fruits mixed with green hoppy and grassy notes. Almost no sweetness. Medium bitterness and a very dry finish.
Feel: Juicy, but not overly full nor creamy. Low carbonation. Slightly sharp.
Overall: Unfortunately a bit underwhelming considering its reputation. Rather one-dimensional on the grassy and citrusy side. A good beer, but nothing memorable.
