This Barrington cold brewed coffee infused blonde barleywine is the luminous counterpart to our dark, rich imperial stout. In Day & Night, we envisioned the blonde barleywine style as a way to showcase the nuanced floral, fruity, and spicy characteristics found in medium and lighter roast coffee blends. Golden-Amber in color, Day & Night exudes delightful aromas of almond toffee, graham crackers, fruity coffee, lightly acidic berries, and vanilla. Upfront flavors of creamy coffee, honey tinged malt, caramel, and tart berry blend cleanly with a slight coffee-derived bitterness.

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter. Clear golden body. Small white head. Coffee is strong and almost green peppery. Sweet light caramel. Taste is just as sweet. Coffee lends a bitterness and dries it out. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Not very impressive, but it's not bad.

22oz bottle into tulip.
L: a couple fingers of head, gorgeous bright orange brew
S: lots of coffee. Overwhelming coffee
T: so unique and solid. Syrupy / crisp blonde base beer with a perfect balance of coffee
F: amazing -- full mouthfeel with great balance
O: one of the best (most unique) American barley wines I've ever had -- these guys hit nothing but home runs! Pumped to have tried this. I can only imagine what a spirits barrel could do to this!

22oz bottle poured into a proper trillium tulip.
Poures a dark blond with about a finger and a half head. This beer is very unique. Its labeled as a blonde barleywine with coffee. But its very light in the barleywine category. Lots of coffee flavor with your typical blonde qualities. little bitter but its balanced quite well.

Growler poured into Pilsner
Clear Amber, steady stream of carbonation, two ginger white foam cap
Faint Aroma of roast coffee which is deceiving because of the appearance of the beer. Sweet / sour.
Interesting, a gentle coffee flavoring, not bitter, taste on the sides of the tongue and then the tip.
Smooth , gentle carbonation, slight aftertaste on the back of the tongue, taste of alcohol at the end.
Very different styler of American barley wine. Good bit different.
