Headroom is about pushing boundaries. From its first batch brewed on Congress St. in 2015 to today, Headroom stands as a landmark, watershed beer in terms of our evolution as a brewery. Conceptually, we sought to create our boldest, most daring, hoppiest beer we could possibly dream up. Our ability to conceive and brew new Double Dry Hopped Double and Triple IPAs is born out of our foundational experience brewing Headroom. Remaining our hoppiest beer, laden with over 8 pounds per barrel of Galaxy and Mosaic Hops, Headroom represents a yearly look back at our past, a reflection on our present, and a glance into our future.
Headroom displays huge aromas of pressed orange, lemon zest, and papaya with a burst of fresh grassy hops. Rich flavors of candied peach and orange peel lead the palate with supporting notes of red grapefruit, ripe pineapple, white table grapes, and mango smoothies.
MALT: Pale Malt, White Wheat, Flaked Wheat, Cara-Pils
HOPS: Mosaic, Galaxy, CTZ

Can dated 8/25/25. Reviewed 11/27/25. A phenomenal DIPA. Flavors of pineapple, stone fruit, and papaya. Backed up with a smooth piney finish. Would like to try a fresher can but this was a great experience.

Poured chilled from a can dated 06/19/25 into a 16oz pint glass.
Appearance is one-finger white head that slowly receded set atop a hazy pale gold brew. Good amount of lacing on the glass.
Aroma is grassy hops, citrus including orange, lemon, and faint grapefruit.
Taste follows the nose with fruity notes of citrus, some tropical fruit/papaya, grassy hops, peach.
Mouthfeel is medium full, pillowy creaminess, cottony, good amount of carbonation with a slight dry finish. Nice balance between the sweet front and subtle hoppy bitterness on the back.
Overall, this is a very nice DIPA. Really well balanced and a other well-crafted brew from the gang at Trillium.

i totally get it, the hype is real and valid, what an elite big ipa on the hazy end of the spectrum, frankly about as good as it gets, so intense but so drinkable, smooth and long and juiced to the max, not green or harsh or overdone, bold as it is, and a wicked showcase of what galaxy can do in a context like this, its galaxy on steroids, absolutely wonderful beer, i expected something samey but this really stands apart, wow! looks almost like orange juice in the little hotel room stemless wine glass we pour it into, a near inch of puffy thick whipped looking white head from the pint can, a low orange glow with consistent haze but its not soup. the aroma fills the room, juicy peach, orange, and mango, so ripe and bright, seems like its actually fruited, some oily weedy dab type cannabis character, green grape and white wine, yellow florals super concentrated, lime leaf, and some light pine or juniper or something in place as well, no catty character from the mosaic at all, and extremely fresh, amazingly pungent. the palate is crazy, it tastes like it smells but its also like sticky and resinous and concentrated, a long climax and a real unique fruity hit, orange starburst, papaya, coconut, and dehydrated mango, so good! palate coating with a nice fluffy starchy grain base that fits a beer this strong and flavorful, a touch of sweetness there, even a vanilla hit accenting the hops in a unique way, lots and lots of body and a long pleasant fruity hop linger. the galaxy is so epic in here, i know there are other hops but this is the element that defines it for me, as good as i have ever known it really, and this came in way ahead of expectations overall for me, despite hits insane ranking and scores on here, its totally a beer to celebrate, i was blown away! about as much flavor as you can pack into an ipa, elite and one of a kind, even in their huge lineup of ipa types, this stands way out. brilliant!

Had a single draft at Trillium Brewery in Canton, Massachusetts for ten dollars. My eighty seventh brew reviewed from these guys. Great beer, way overpriced for a 10 Oz pour.

Pale, cloudy, yellow in color. Very white, frothy head that left lots of lacing on the glass! Nose is wow juicy! Lots of citrus and fruitiness on nose. Taste was not as good as I expected. Sweet flavors, citrus and almost a peach hint on the backend. Good amount of bitterness.
