First brewed to commemorate the grand opening our new facility in Canton, MA. This special pale ale signifies a collective milestone for the entire Trillium team.
A new fermentation profile lends juicier notes and an extra soft mouthfeel. Hazy golden in appearance with a medium body, this refreshing pale ale bursts with aromatics of mango, orange, melon, and a hoppy dankness. Featuring Mosaic/Citra in the dry hop and a crisp Pilsner malt backbone, Launch Beer exhibits graceful flavors of orange, a light lime character, hints of melon, and slight pithiness.
We raise a glass to you; the devoted community of supporters who have helped us make our dream a reality!
MALT: Pilsner, White Wheat, Carapils, C-15, Flaked Oats
HOPS: Mosaic, Citra, Columbus

Can from the Packie
Hazy murky light straw with a decent frothy white head that persists. Lemony earthy grassy with hints of tropical against a restrained bready backbone. Kind of chunky in the mouthfeel and the body doesn't seem to hold it up. Trillium makes better beers but this one is serviceable.

Soft, pale, lemonade yellow pour; soft, pastel yellow body, opaque; thick, frothy white head initially, quickly fades to a thin, wispy covering. Pleasant white grapefruit scent. Grapefruit tartness and bitterness greets the taste buds; a bit flat. Medium mouthfeel; a tad watery yet crisp and tart.
Not what I was expecting from this beer. It seems rather weak overall, especially with the appearance. I have three more cans to try over the coming days and weeks, so I'm open to reevaluating this beer if subsequent pours are radically different from this experience.
ABV: 5.7%; pouring temperature: 42 °F; canning info: 07/24/24

Sixteen ounce can, dated 5/3/2023, in a standard pint glass.
Pale white washed yellow color, clouded with a slight orange hue. Loose white cap that drops off and leaves minimal lacing.
Lime aroma upfront followed by more citrus, orange and grapefruit. Light malt and berry-ish.
Orange and grapefruit flavor blend that finish with lime.
It’s light and quenching. Clean hops that deliver citrus and berries without bitterness.
Classy hopped APA @ 5.7% abv.

A: Poured from the can into a tulip. Body is turbid/hazy tannish-yellow with a wisp of whitish head.
S: Damn, that's a good nose. Real strong - and real citrusy (grapefruit) with a lot of tropical fruit (pineapple).
T: Very nice - follows the nose, with grapefruity, juicy hops and pineapple-orange juice over a modest grainy malt.
M: A little "sharper" than most NE IPAs, and at this moment, I'm digging it.
O: Very solid. This can has about two months of age on it, and it's drinking real nice right now.

Pours hazy yellow with a thin white head from 16oz can. Aroma is citrus and some hop floral. Taste follows with a citrus flavor that features pineapple. There is some hop bitterness in there too. Feel is excellent with a soft feel and clean finish. Overall it’s an above average pale ale.
