In another exciting collaborative effort with our neighbors at Barrington Coffee Roasters, we bring you a bold American stout infused with cold-brewed coffee. PM Dawn exhibits an earthy, freshly roasted coffee bean and dark chocolate/mocha nose. The flavor profile consists of vanilla, hot chocolate, and caramel along with rich espresso. With a medium to heavy body, luscious mouthfeel, and light bitterness, PM Dawn is balanced and full, smooth with a drying roast character.

Bomber poured into a tulip wine glass.
Excellent appearance. Rich, foamy, espresso-tinged head over a viscous, ebony, coffee-like body. Nice lace and film over the body. 5
Delectable aroma. Sweet nutty and creamy coffee aroma. Vanilla and caramel accompany things. Clean coffee and beer aromas combine excellently. Very nice. 4.25
Coffee flavor again pops and is pretty awesome. Nutty almond and hazelnut with some floral elements (that could be hops and not coffee). This segues to a roastier, maltier flavor, although I do feel there's a slight absence of beer flavor here. Though I will say I get a tinge of dark fruit flavor on the finish that could be the malt...or could be the coffee, hehe. 4
Body is lighter than medium, but feels pretty creamy. Prett bitter, but has a light sweetness that achieves near balance. 4
Again, great coffee flavor. Core beer is solid but could emerge a bit more for my liking. Overall, very nice though.

Pours a deep black with lots of dense, but light mocha head with good retention and solid lacing. I get semi-sweet chocolate first in the aroma and taste followed by delicious coffe then more subtle roasted malts and a smattering of dark fruits; my girlfriend gets the coffee first and the chocolate second. This beer starts and finishes a bit too much on the sweet side for me, I'd like some more bitterness there to balance it out a bit. Mouthfeel is pretty spot on, medium-full body with low-moderate carbonation. Overall this is a very good beer; I found it to be too sweet but otherwise there are a lot of great flavored that work well together. I've been a fan of previous iterations of this beer and this one is no different.

750 ml bottle. Pours almost black with thick tan head that stays around for a while. Aroma full of
coffee, wow! Taste is cold brewed coffee with semi sweet chocolate, so delicious, like coffee candy but not overly sweet. Medium smooth mouthfeel. Absolutely delicious brew.
