Our latest edition of Free Rise, one of our signature saisons, highlights locally sourced Danko Rye from Valley Malt and Mosaic in the dry hop. A nuanced fruity hop profile is balanced with subtle, nutty malt character and expressive notes of pepper and clove. Light in body, with a clean, bone-dry finish, Mosaic Dry Hopped Free Rise is a welcomed addition to our family of farmhouse ales.

Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a 1F head and light lacing.
Smells of piney hops and yeast.
Tastes of Belgian yeast, tangy wheat, apple, pear and cloves.
Medium light body with very light carbonation. Clean, watery mouthfeel.
This is a very drinkable, unbitter, uncomplicated saison.

The beer pours a nice white and bubbly head that dissipates quickly. The beer itself is a clear orangish yellow that looks very nice.
The smell is pretty good. It has an orange, light grapefruit, and candied orange note with a slightly peppery smell to it.
The taste is pretty good. It's mostly a fruity note with candied orange and a light grapefruit note with a grainy and lightly peppery finish to it.
The feel is pretty good. It has a light medium body with tingling carbonation and a slightly dry finish.
Overall, this is a pretty good beer worth getting on spring or fall day.

Can. Golden orange with small head. Smells like ripe oranges with very little spice or vanilla or grain. Medium sweetness with cloying orange and citrus orange finish. Medium body medium carbo. The dryhopping crushes all the other saison flavors. IMHO

Appearance: Arrives a clear goldenstraw color with a slight chill haze; the head perks up to two fingers and leaves a splattering of lace
Smell: Smells more like a Belgian Pale than a Saison, with bubblegum and clove phenols and a citrusy tone
Taste: Bready malts underpin the bubblegum and clove flavors; citrusy, through the middle, with a phenolic finish; a vinous white wine element, too
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate to high carbonation
Overall: Not my favorite Trillium offering. Tastes like a Belgian pale with an American hop influence

A fruity, hoppy and spicy saison. Fruity and lightly sweet up front with a lot of mango and peach which gives way to the peppery and clove taste of a classic saison. The beer finishes with spicy rye and bitter hops. Lots of floral notes. The mango and peach flavors really make the beer great.

As lover of NEIPA and Saison, I had much higher hopes for this. The look is deep yellow to orange with a slight haze and head fades too quickly. The nose is seems over sweet with Mosaic over powering and malt, little to know yeast. Taste unfortunately follows the nose and over sweet with notes of stone fruit. Moutfeel is little sticky and not a good way, it just feel at over 7abv you can none of the Saison trade marks, and comes off as a west coast IPA trying to Haze bomb and not saison.
